Filming days

Monday October 11th 2010 - We went to Market Street in town for our first day of filming. We had to make sure that we discussed what part of the scene we were going to do first. There was a lot of people going past and looking at the camera. We experienced difficulty while we was filming as there was a bin men stood in one of our shot, we had to wait for them to go before we continued filming. The weather was very cold and because of this it took longer than anticipated. Sumaya was doing the camera and had to take many shots so that we can have more angles to work with when we are editing.

On Thursday - We took location shots of the park near college, also we had a discussion as a group about what kind of shots were going to take and how we are going to relate the location to our music video. We took two shots of Umar and Zainab in and around college that we were going to use in our video.

The first verse will be filmed in the Manchester City Centre. This will be where Kyle is walking and sees Zainab with her new boyfriend.

The second verse will be Zainab singing and looking at her phone. Not paying any attention to Umar (her new boyfriend).

There will be a cut to the past where Kyle and Zainab were happy, then a scene of them fighting and ending up breaking the relationship.

Now that they broke up the lyrics are very relevent to what happens and what the audience sees. "you changed my whole life.." and "but every problem has gone because i go everywhere with love inside of me..." This shows that they still love each other and cant get over the relationship.

The verse after that will be in the Trafford Centre where there is a split screen of both of them singing as the verses in the chorus are where they both together. When the song finished they both will go different ways, which will show the sign of separation.

Costumes

Zainab:

Will appeal to the way teenagers dress up these days and we try to keep the style up to date with the fashion.

Kyle:

Will include dull colours e.g black and grey, which will assume loneness, sadness and shows the separation from his girlfriend has effected him.

Umar:

Will wear casual clothing. This includes a waterproof hoodied jacket which is a bright colour and jeans.
